Hello and welcome to the new blog of BASS (Berkeley Atheists and Skeptics Society). We are UC Berkeley’s atheist, agnostic, secular, skeptical, humanist, and freethinking student group.

This blog was started in the hopes of spreading our ideals of rationalism, reason, and honest inquiry, among other things. Here, you’ll be able to read posts from club members about topics ranging from societal effects of religion to discussion/criticism of philosophical arguments for the existence of God. It is our hope that these blog posts will help the Berkeley campus, and society in general, understand the ideas of atheists like ourselves, who are generally misunderstood or not heard enough in many regions of the world.

We meet on a weekly basis during the academic year. Our regular meeting place and time for Spring 2016 is 210 Dwinelle Hall from 7-8 PM on Tuesdays. Join us for our meetings and dinner afterwards!
